Newly sworn-in four advisers pay tributes to Liberation War martyrs at Savar

DHAKA, Aug 17, 2024 (BSS) - The newly sworn-in four advisers to the interim government paid homage to the martyrs of the Liberation War by placing wreaths at the National Memorial in Savar, on the outskirts of the capital today.

The advisers were: Adviser to the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Agriculture Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, Adviser to the Ministry of Planning and the Ministry of Education Wahiduddin Mahmud, Adviser attached to Chief Adviser's Office Ali Imam Majumder and Adviser to the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, the Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges and the Ministry of Railways Muhammad Fawzul Kabir Khan.

Later, they signed the visitors' book at Savar Memorial Complex and planted saplings on the memorial premises.

The four advisers took oath at Bangabhaban on August 16.
