DHAKA, Aug 22, 2024 (BSS)-A control room was opened today at the Water Resources Ministry to review the overall situation of the ongoing flood and collect its information.

The control room number is 01318234560, an official release of the ministry said.

Joint Secretary of the ministry Md Rabiul Alam has been entrusted with the charge of Focal Point for overall monitoring of the flood situation.

The responsible officers/employees will prepare a report on the current flood situation and send it to the Secretary of ministry for collecting required information by maintaining round the clock communication with the control rooms of the respective districts and at the Water Development Board (WDB).
