DHAKA, Oct 6, 2024 (BSS) - Dhaka Metropolitan Police's (DMP) Traffic Division has filed a total of 627 cases and realized Taka 26,78,000 as fine in a single day across the capital for violating traffic rules.

The cases were filed and fines imposed on October 5, a DMP release said here today.

During the drive, a total of 167 vehicles were impounded and 55 others towed. The DMP release further said these drives will continue to bring discipline on Dhaka's streets.
