DHAKA, Nov 13, 2024 (BSS) - Chief Adviser and 2006 Nobel Peace Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus today called for redesigning the global healthcare system and pharmaceutical companies.
 
He made the call while speaking at a sidelines event on health services at the COP29 climate conference in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, according to a message received in Dhaka.
 
Earlier in the day, Prof Yunus delivered his address at the opening session of the World Leaders Climate Action Summit at COP29.
 
Besides, he spoke at a meeting with the Social Business Group on the sidelines of the global climate meet today.
