DHAKA, Nov 15, 2024 (BSS) - Adviser for Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain today said that bureaucratic problems of government officials will be removed from public welfare work.
"Public welfare work should be freed from all bureaucratic complications," he said while addressing a discussion held at the Officers' Club on Bailey Road here marking the three-month anniversary of the student-led mass uprising.
Asif, also the Youth and Sports Adviser, said that the cohorts of the dictator are being removed from various parts of the administration and competent persons are being recruited so that all can work together with neutrality to implement the aspiration of the mass uprising.
The adviser said the political demography has changed in Bangladesh.
"A large population of the country have sacrificed their lives for building the country and eliminating discrimination from the state structure," he added.
Some sections of the political forces are opposing those matters which comprised of the spirit of mass uprising, he said, adding those political parties are failing to hold the spirit of the July Revolution.
Urging the politicians to uphold the spirit of the 2024 mass uprising, the Adviser said “this generation of 2024 should give importance to every political party.”
He called upon everyone to participate in the reform works of the government.
