SIRAJGANJ, Dec 31, 2021 (BSS) - Four people, including a woman, were killed and at least 10 injured as a bus overturned and fell into a van in Salanga area of the district today.

  The accident took place on the Hatikumrul-Bonpara highway near Gojabridge area around 10.30am, officer-in-charge of Hatikumrul Highway Police Station Lutfur Rahman said.

   He said the Dhaka-bound bus of National Travels was coming from Rajshahi. When the bus lost its control, it overturned and crashed a van, leaving four people dead instantly and 10 injured seriously, he added.

   On information, fire service and police personnel rushed to the spot and rescued the injured and sent them to Bangamata Begum Fazilatunnesa Mujib General Hospital in Sirajganj.
