CUMILLA , Feb 18, 2022 (BSS) - Five people were killed and two others injured when a dump truck rammed an autorickshaw from behind on the Cumilla-Sylhet highway in Tuth Bagan area under Burichong upazila of the district today.

  The deceased were identified as driver of the autorickshaw Julhas Mia 60, passengers Saiful Islam,33, Alamgir Hossain, 27, Zahirul Islam ,35, and Jalal Uddin ,40,

   The accident took place in the area around 6am, Officer-in-charge of Mainamati Highway police station Md Belal Uddin Jahangir confirmed the matter.

  The bodies of the deceased were sent to hospital for postmortem, he added.
