DHAKA, March 10, 2022 (BSS) - Bangladesh Competition Commission has formed a three-member enquiry committee to check anti-competition activities in the market.  

  The committee has been formed to conduct operations in line with the concerned section of the Competition Act, 2012 regarding anti-competition activities and artificial crisis on edible oil in the kitchen market, said a press release of the Commission.  

  It said that the Commission has taken into cognizance the price hike of edible oil and unrest in the market.  

  Besides, all citizens have been urged to mail to the secretary of the Bangladesh Competition Commission (email: [email protected]) if there is any anti-competition activity is seen in the market. The identity of
the information giver will be kept secret.
