DHAKA, March 26, 2022 (BSS) - Russian Federation President Vladimir V. Putin has congratulated President M Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on the occasion of the Independence Day of Bangladesh. 

"The relations between Russia and Bangladesh are based-on the good traditions of friendship and mutual respect," said Vladimir V. Putin in a message today. 

He expressed confidence that by joint efforts the governments of the two countries will ensure further development of constructive bilateral cooperation in political, trade, economic, humanitarian and other spheres, which, undoubtedly, meets the interests of their people, goes in line with the promotion of regional stability and security.

He wished the President and Prime Minister sound health and success, as well as happiness and prosperity to all citizens of Bangladesh.
