DHAKA, April 25, 2022 (BSS) - Awami Jubo League (JL) distributed Eid gifts among 600 helpless people in Khilgaon ward No-75 area in the city today.

Saber Hossain Chowdhury, MP, was present at the function as the chief guest with Jubo League Chairman Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash in the chair.

Jubo League General Secretary Mainul Hossain Khan Nikhil conducted it.

Saber Hossain Chowdhury said Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman did politics for the change of the destiny of working people, for this reason he had been in jail for a long time.
 
Bangabandhu's daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been working relentlessly for the welfare of the people, he added.

Parash said anti-liberation forces were behind the killing of Bangabandhu and his family. Later, BNP founder Ziaur Rahman had seized the state power and rehabilitated the anti-liberation forces. The BNP is the key enemy of the country, he added.

JL presidium members Md Nabi Newaz, Md Moazzem Hossain and engineer Mrinal Kanti Joyaddar, Joint General Secretaries Subrata Pal and Md Bodiul Alam, Organizing Secretary Kazi Md Mazharul Islam, Acting President of Dhaka City South Unit of Jubo League Main Uddin Rana, Acting General Secretary Rezaul Karim Reza, General Secretary of Khilgaon Thana Awami League Mahbub Alam Mahbub and Mukda Thana AL's General Secretary Mosharraf Hossain Bahar were, among others, present in the event.
