DHAKA, June 6, 2022 (BSS) - Outgoing Brazilian Ambassador to Bangladesh Joao Tabajara De Oliveira Junior paid a courtesy call on President M Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban here this evening.

During the meeting, the outgoing Brazilian ambassador expressed his gratitude to the President for his cooperation during his assignment
in Dhaka, President's Press Secretary Md Joynal Abedin told BSS later.

The President said the prospects for expanding bilateral and trade relations between Bangladesh and Brazil are very bright.

The head of the state stressed on exchanging visits of public and private delegations, especially business delegations, of both the countries to avail the existing potentials of the countries.

President Hamid thanked the outgoing ambassador of Brazil for his successful tenure in Bangladesh.

President's Office Secretary Sampad Barua, Military Secretary Major General SM Salah Uddin Islam, Press Secretary Md Joynal Abedin and Secretary (attached) Md Wahidul Islam Khan were present.
