DHAKA, Dec 21, 2022 (BSS) - The newly formed committee of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) today paid rich tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

BCL's new President Saddam Hossain and General Secretary Sheikh Walid Asif Enan with the members of new committee placed floral wreath at the portrait of Bangabandhu at Dhanmondi Road-32 in the capital on Wednesday noon.

Outgoing president and general secretary Al Nahian Khan Joy and Lekhak Bhattacharjee, Dhaka University Unit's new president Mazharul Kabir Shayan and its new general secretary Tanbir Hasan Shaikat were present, among others, at the time.

Earlier on Tuesday night, Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina approved the new committee. On behalf of the party president, AL General Secretary Obaidul Quader announced the new committee.
