GOPALGANJ, Jan 8, 2023 (BSS) - Awami League (AL) Presidium Member Sheikh Fazlul Karim Selim today said BNP has become a party holding reunion of the anti-liberation forces, war criminals and razakars after August 15, 1975.

"BNP has no ideology. It is not a political party, rather it is an association of war criminals and anti-liberation forces," he told journalists after paying tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at his mausoleum at Tungipara here.

Selim said Bangladesh will never turn into Pakistan as Bengali made the country independent in exchange for the blood of 30 lakh martyrs.

He said BNP's politics is to seize the state power as they don't do politics or wage movement for the country and its people.

BNP's top leaders are convicted so they cannot participate in the upcoming general elections.

Leaders of the newly elected committee of Gopalganj District AL and associate organization were present.
