DHAKA, Jan 21, 2023 (BSS) - Police recovered the decomposed body of a journalist of the English daily 'The Financial Express' from his own residence in city's Mirpur area this afternoon.

The deceased was Biplab Zaman, 65, a news consultant of 'The Financial Express'.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Pallabi Police Station Parvez Islam said that Biplab Zaman might have died a few days ago as bad odour was coming out from his residence.

Being informed, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body by breaking open the door of the flat, he added.
