DHAKA, Feb 8, 2023 (BSS) - Ekattorer Ghatak Dalal Nirmul Committee will hold 'Professor Kabir Chowdhury Commemorative Lecture' in observance of his birth centenary at Shilpakala Academy at 3pm tomorrow.
 
Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni will attend the lecture as chief guest while playwright and drama personality Mamunur Rashid will deliver the lecture on noted educationist Prof Kabir Chowdhury who played key role for holding the trial of War Criminals and banning Jamaat Islami's fundamental and communal politics in the country.
 
As part of its programmes, the committee will also hold a discussion and cultural function, including screening of films on the life and works of Kabir Chowdhury who died in 2011, said a press release.
 
International Theatre Institute president Ramendu Majumder, Shyamoli Nasrin Chowdhury, Justice Shamsuddin Chowdhury Manik, Milon Kanti Dey and Rezwana Choudhury Banya will take part in the discussion.
