DHAKA, Feb 09, 2023 (BSS) - Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Mayor Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh today said he will work for evicting all the grabbers from the land of DSCC. 

"A large amount of land has been remained occupied in different ways. Land grabbers and vested intested quarters are occupying the land.... They even give our land for rent! I will not allow it," the DSCC mayor said while handing over keys of the allocated houses among sweepers at a function held at Nagar Bhaban here today, said a press release. 

A number of cleaners belonging to various communities, including Telugu, have also been allotted houses in order to uplift their living standard. 

DSCC officials - Mizanur Rahman, Akramuzzaman, Haider Ali, and Russell Sabrin, among others, were present at the function.
