DHAKA, Feb 15, 2023 (BSS) - Awami Jubo League Chairman Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash today said that there is no public participation in the street march of BNP. 

"The people have no confidence in the leadership of BNP. Because they are frauds, once they get people's votes, they don't take time to forget them," he told a rally followed by a procession in front of Awami League (AL) central office in the city's Bangabandhu Avenue area. 

Awami Jubo League organized the rally protesting BNP-Jamaat's anarchies, including terrorist activities, showdown with arms, attacking on police and general people, setting public transport on fire and damaging public properties, in the name of street march on February 10 in Gazipur and on February 11 in Lakshmipur, said a press release.
 
Parash said BNP now wants to do politics of killing as part of their ongoing ill efforts to spoil the next parliament elections.

In the rally, he announced a series of programmes in protest of BNP-Jamaat's terrorist activities.

According to the programmes schedule, Dhaka city south unit of Jubo League will hold a protest rally at 3pm at Bangabandhu Avenue while Dhaka city north unit of Jubo League will hold the same rally at Farmgate Jubo League Chattar in the city on February 17. 

Protest rally will be organized at all divisional cities across the country except the capital city on February 18 while all upazila or Thana as well as Pourasabha units of the organization will bring out protest processions and hold demonstrations on February 19 and all district units will stage similar demonstrations on February 20.

Parliamentary constituency based protest rallies and processions will be organized in the capital city on February 22 while the similar demonstrations will be staged at all Thanas in all the divisions on the same day. 

Jubo League General Secretary Mainul Hossain Khan Nikhil conducted the rally while its presidium members Manjur Alam Shaheen, Habibur Rahman Paban, Dr Sajjad Hayder Litan and Moazzem Hossain, Joint General Secretary Bishwash Matiur Rahman Badsha and organizing secretaries Kazi Majharul Islam and Saifur Rahman Sohag, Dhaka City Jubo League North acting President Jakir Hossain Babul, Dhaka City Jubo League South acting President Main Uddin Rana and acting General Secretary Rejaul Karim Reza, Jubo League central committee Publicity Secretary Joydeb Nandi and Office Secretary Mostafizur Rahman Masud were present at the rally, among others.
