DHAKA, March 13, 2023 (BSS) - Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of veteran photo journalist Jalaluddin Haider, who photographed momentous incidents of the country including the Liberation War.

In a message of condolence, she said, "The legendary photo journalist will remain alive among us through his creative works".

The Premier prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.

Jalaluddin Haider, a permanent member of the Jatiya Press Club (JPC), breathed his last in the early hours on Tuesday. He was 82.
