DHAKA, Aug 17, 2021 (BSS) - Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC)
Mayor Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh today said ward-based
development will be given priority in mega plan in terms of population
density.

  He said this while addressing the 9th board meeting of second
council of the city corporation at Mayor Hanif auditorium of Nagar
Bhaban here.

   The mayor said works of formulating 30-year mega plan has begun as
agreement has already been signed with consulting institution and they
started initial activities.

  Taposh said a meeting of ward councilors will be held with
consulting institution soon.

  Apart from councilors, DSCC Chief Executive Officer Farid Ahmed,
Chief Health Officer Brigadier General Dr Sharif Ahmed, Chief Engineer
Rezaur Rahman, Secretary Md Akramuzzaman, Chief Estate Officer Russell
Sabrin and Chief Revenue Officer Ariful Haque were present, among
others.
