DHAKA, April 16, 2023 (BSS)- A court here today ordered Criminal 
Investigation Department (CID) to further probe a case lodged over the death 
of BUET student Fardin Noor Parash in 2022.

Following a short hearing, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Md Shanto Islam 
Mallik today passed the order accepting the 'Naraji Petition' from the 
plaintiff and victim's father, Noor Uddin Rana.

The court also ordered CID to submit the probe report on May 24.

Amatullah Bushra, a friend of Fardin who was granted remand for interrogation 
days after his murder, was present before the court today. Earlier, she 
secured permanent bail in the case.

On February 6, the Investigating Officer (IO) of the case DB Police Inspector 
Yasin Shikder submitted the final report to the court.
