DHAKA, Aug 18, 2021 (BSS) - According to the decision of the National Moon Sighting Committee, the government has issued a notification today rescheduling August 20 as the holiday of holy Ashura instead of August 19.

The notification said that, in case of offices whose schedules and holidays are regulated by their own laws, agencies, and institutions whose jobs have been declared as compulsory government jobs, the concerned offices, agencies and institutions will re-determine the leave in accordance with their own laws and regulations considering the public interest.
