DHAKA, Jun 5, 2023 (BSS) - Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Dr. Md. Jahangir Alam has been appointed as the new director general (DG) of Bangladesh Television (BTV).

A gazette notification issued by the Ministry of Public Administration revealed the information on Monday.

The order will be effective immediately, the notification added.
