DHAKA, June 12, 2023 (BSS) - Adamjee Cantonment College today won the 'Sena Pradhan Trophy' as the best educational institution among the cantonment public schools and colleges, run by the Bangladesh Army.
 
Chief of General Staff of Bangladesh Army Lieutenant General Ataul Hakim Sarwar Hasan as the President of the Central Coordinating Council of Cantonment Public Schools and Colleges handed over the trophy to the principal of Adamjee Cantonment College in the 55th meeting of the Central Coordinating Council.
 
The school is progressing with great success in academic and co-curricular activities with the motto of education, discipline and ethics, said a press release.
 
In 2022, a total of 2403 students from this college participated in the higher secondary examination and a total of 2277 students obtained GPA 5 with 100 per cent pass marks.
 
The College won the distinction of being the champion in the 'Mathematics Olympiad' and the runner-up in the 'General Knowledge' competition.
 
Recently, Adamjee Cantonment College became the champion in the inter-college football (male) and volleyball (female) competition-2023 organized by Dhaka Education Board and runner-up in inter-college cricket (male), handball (female) and volleyball (male) competition.
 
Besides, College Principal Brigadier General Al Farooq Siddiqui was selected as "Best Institution Head" (College) at the metropolitan level of "National Education Week-2023".
