DHAKA, June 23, 2023 (BSS) - State minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak today said it is the duty of all to reach the story of the glorious life of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman to the new generation and there can be no better option than an animation film in this regard.
The state minister said this while inaugurating the premiere show of an animation film 'Mujib Bhai', based on Bangabandhu's autobiography the 'Unfinished Memoirs' at capital's Simanto Somvar.
"The film tried to depict the life struggle of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the synopsis of his achievements, how he became Mujib Bhai for all the people of Bangladesh from the boy Khoka. How he became a leader from a student of Dhaka University, how he made his place in the hearts of the masses," Palak added.
The state minister further said this movie will play an important role in taking forward the country's animation industry.
Produced by ICT Division, the story of the film was written by Ajay Dasgupta, dialogue and screenplay by Adnan Adib Khan, and was directed by Chandan Kumar Barman and Sohel Mohammad Rana. The executive producers of the film are Jinat Farzana, Arif Mohammad and Md Shafiul Alam.
