DHAKA, June 25, 2023 (BSS)-State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid today urged the officials to work with patriotism and professionalism.

“Modernization of various departments should be done by connecting patriotism and professionalism. Initiatives have been taken to increase team work. It is necessary to strengthen smartness and competence among the team members with professionalism,” he said.

Addressing the annual performance agreement (APA) signing ceremony for the financial year 2023-2024 as chief guest at Bidyut Bhaban, Nasrul Hamid said the power division is always work well but it should be needed to do more better.

“No compromise on quick decision-making and modern management system. There will be challenges, we have to move forward by facing them,” he said.

The state minister said the targets given by the APA must be completed within the stipulated time.

Different state-owned entities in the power sector today signed the APA with the Power Division to achieve their respective targets.

A total of 17 state-owned entities signed the APA.

Chaired by senior secretary of power division Md Habibur Rahman, while Bangladesh Energy and Power Research council (EPRC) chairman Md Mokabbir Hossain, Sustainable and Renewable Energy Development Authority (SREDA) chairman Munira Sultana, Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) chairman Md Mahbubur Rahman and Power Cell Director General Mohammad Hossain were present.
