DHAKA, July 25, 2023 (BSS) - Prime Minister's Private Industry and Investment Adviser Salman Fazlur Rahman has said BNP has failed to get support from foreigners.

"The BNP leaders thought that the foreigners would oust Sheikh Hasina-led government and put them (BNP) in power. Therefore, they have been following foreigners for some time," he said.

Salman said this while participating in a reception ceremony in Italy Rome on Monday night, said a press release here today.

Bangladeshi expatriates living in Italy from Dohar-Nawabganj gave the reception.

Salman said that they did not get any support from foreigners on the caretaker issue.

He said Sheikh Hasina should be brought back to power to continue the development of Bangladesh.

 For this, Salman urged all to work together to win the Awami League candidate in every seat.
