Special photo story on Bangabandhu biopic

In presence of information and broadcasting minister Dr Hasan Manhud, Bangladesh Film Censor Board (BFCD) Chairman and Secretary of Information and Broadcasting Ministry Md Humayun Kabir Khandaker and Vice-Chairman Md Saifullah handing over the censor certificate of the film 'Mujib: The Making of a Nation', the biopic based on the life and works of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and produced jointly by Bangladesh and India to BFDC managing director and producer of the biopic’s Bangladesh part Nusrat Yasmin and script writer of the biopic India’s Atul Tiwari at a function at InterContinental hotel in the city on Sunday.- Ministry of Information and Broadcasting

 

 

Chief Information Commissioner (CIC) Dr Abdul Malek, former cultural affairs minister Asaduzzaman Noor and among the artistes of the biopic Arifin Shuvoo who plays the role of Bangabandhu and Nusrat Imrose Tisha who plays the role of Bangamata and other co-artistes were present at the function, among others. Shooting of the film was begun on January 22, 2021 in India’s Mumbai film city and wrapped up on December 18. - Ministry of Information and Broadcasting
