DHAKA, Aug 14, 2023 (BSS) - Police Staff College (PSC) and Bangladesh Public Service Training Centre (BPATC) today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a view to reach a new horizon for mutual cooperation in the field of training, education and research.
Rector of PSC Mallick Faqrul Islam said Police Staff College and BPATC will have the opportunity to organize seminars and workshops jointly for knowledge-based experience among trainees.
The MoU would help build and implement Smart Bangladesh announced by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Faqrul said.
The main objective of the MoU is to exchange knowledge, experience and information between the two training institutes.
Rector of BPATC Ashraf Uddin said the cooperation agreement between PSC and BPATC will be considered as a milestone in the future.
It will open new horizons of cooperation in the field of good governance, human rights establishment and training of government officials, he said, adding, "There will also be an area to work intensively on matters related to mutual interests."
MDS of PSC Md Jahangir Hossain and MDS of BPATC Dr Mohsin Ali signed the MoU on behalf of their respective sides.
