RAJSHAHI, Aug 14, 2023 (BSS)- State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam, MP, has said freelancing can be the best way of employment for the young generation.
 
"There are limitations of jobs but not in freelancing," he said, urging young generation to come forward towards freelancing for their lifestyle improvement instead of hunting jobs vigorously.
 
State Minister Shahriar Alam made the observation while inaugurating a fortnight long freelancing training course in Bagha upazila here today as the chief guest today.
 
The department of information and communication technology organized the course at Sheikh Russel Digital Lab at Mozahar Hossain Degree College aimed at generating employment for both young men and women.
 
Shahriar Alam said educational qualification doesn't matter in freelancing but attaining competence is very important. Apart from this, freelancing plays a pioneering role in the field of becoming self-reliant besides reducing dependence on others.

He said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's government is working with the determination to build a smart Bangladesh.
 
Digital Bangladesh has already been built and time has come to build Smart Bangladesh with the prudent and farsighted leadership of the Premier.
"We have no more time to look backward but we have to look forward as the present Bangladesh has been marching forward vibrantly," Alam added.

Later, the state minister also inaugurated a similar type of training course at Charghat Mohila Degree College.

A total of 50 young men and women are taking part in the two training courses.
