DHAKA, Aug 29, 2021 (BSS) - Minister of Posts and Telecommunications Mustafa Jabbar has said the work of the National poet Kazi Nazrul Islam must be spread across the world through digital transformation.

"We are not practicing as well as doing research on the works of the national poet in a proper manner… It is our duty to turn the literacy of Nazrul into the wealth of the world," he said addressing a webinar last night.

"The Bengali nation will not be able to avoid this responsibility," said a press release citing him as saying.

Jabbar, referring to his involvement with the poet’s family in 1972, he said, “I studied Nazrul as a student of Bengali literature and realized that his thoughts regarding the social context was reflected in the constitution of 1972.”
