DHAKA, Aug 28, 2023 (BSS) - Terming Bangalee nation as a nation of heroes, Awami League (AL) Presidium Member Lieutenant Colonel (retd) Muhammad Faruk Khan today said the nation is marching towards progress like heroes under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

"Under the dynamic leadership of Sheikh Hasina, the GDP of Bangladesh has become the 35th largest economy in the world" he said while addressing a memorial meeting marking the National Mourning Day organized by Awami League's religious sub-committee at Jatiya Press Club (JPC) here.

With Awami League Religious Affairs sub-committee Chairman Khondokar Golam Maula Nokshbondi in the chair, Awami League Religious affairs secretary advocate Sirajul Mostafa, Awami League Dhaka city south unit president Abu Ahmed Mannafi , Director General (DG) of power cell Engineer Mohammad Hossain addressed the discussion as special guests.
