DHAKA, Aug 31, 2021 (BSS) - The University Grants Commission (UGC) and Times Higher Education (THE) will hold a series of workshops and trainings for university professors and researchers on how to improve Bangladeshi universities' rankings in the World University Rankings.

The decision was taken at a virtual discussion held today,  said a UGC press release.

UGC member Dil Afroza Begum, Prof Md Sajjad Hossain, Prof Md Abu Taher attended the meeting, with UGC member Prof Biswajit Chanda in the chair.

Ritin Malhotra, Regional Director for THE South Asia spoke on behalf of the Times Higher Education (THE) on the occasion.
