DHAKA, Sept 8, 2023 (BSS) - Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Gopalganj district Awami League member, former general secretary of Kotalipara upazila AL and valiant freedom fighter SM Humayun Kabir. 

In a condolence message, the Premier prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family, said a press release signed by AL office secretary Barrister Biplab Barua. 

He breathed his last while undergoing treatment at a city hospital here. He was 69.

He left behind wife, a son, a daughter and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn his death.
