DHAKA, Sept 19, 2023 (BSS) - Former General Secretary of Assasuni upazila unit of Satkhira Awami League SM Shahjahan Ali passed away. He was 73.

He breathed his last while undergoing treatment at a city hospital last Sunday.

He left behind his wife, a son, two daughters and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn his death.
AL General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Shahjahan Ali.

In a condolence message, Quader prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members, said a press release.
