DHAKA, Sept 20, 2023 (BSS) - Awami League (AL) Joint General Secretary AFM Bahauddin Nasim today said if BNP doesn't participate in the upcoming general election the existence of party will be no more in the future. 

"We hope that all political parties in the country will participate in the next general election," he told the triennial council of Narsingdi District Awami Swechchhasebak League Unit as the chief guest at Narsingdi. 

Nasim said the BNP will be isolated from the country's people if the party doesn't participate in the next polls.
 
The upcoming general election will be held in a free, fair and neutral manner and the countrymen will cast their votes peacefully, he added.

BNP, he said, is complaining to the foreigners against the incumbent government along with spreading falsehood against the government continuously. 

Nasim said BNP wants to destroy spirit of the country's independence.
 
AL Advisory Council Member Raziuddin Ahmed Razu, MP, Lt Col (Retd) Md Nazrul Islam, MP, Narsingdi District AL President GM Taleb and its General Secretary Peergada Kazi Md Ali, among others, were present.

Swechchhasebak League president Gazi Mesbahul Hossain Sachchu inaugurated the council and its general secretary Afzalur Rahman Babu also spoke.
