NAOGAON, Sept 27, 2023 (BSS) - Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal today said the police force has been revamped to ensure the security of the country.
 
"Under the direction of the Prime Minister, a modern and effective police force has been developed in Bangladesh to cope with the world," he said.
 
The minister said these while addressing a citizen's rally on the occasion of the inauguration of the newly constructed Shibpur Police Investigation Center under Niamatpur police station of the district as the chief guest.
 
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the worthy daughter of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, has built this new police force as dreamt by her father.
 
With Bangladesh Police Rajshahi Range Additional DIG Md Faisal Mahmud in the chair, the event was addressed, among others, by Food Minister Sadhan Chandra Majumder, MP and lawmakers - Shahiduzzaman Sarker, Mohd Salim Uddin Tarafder and Anwar Hossain Helal, Naogaon Deputy Commissioner Md Golam Mawla and Superintendent of Police Mohammad Rashidul Haque.
