RANGPUR, Sept 28, 2023 (BSS) - The Holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi (SM) was observed with due religious fervor and a fresh call for following ideals of the greatest man on the earth, Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH), today.
 
The district administration, Islamic Foundation, Ahle Sunnat Wale Jamaat and Mashaikhe Tariqat Committee, Gausia Committee Bangladesh, Nasirabad Ekramia Mahbubia and Nasirabad Darbar Sharif and other institutions brought out Jashne Juluse Eid-e-Miladunnabi processions in the city on the occasion.
 
The Divisional Office of Islamic Foundation organised recitation from the Holy Quran followed by milad mahfil and offering special munajat and discussion in the city. 
  
Pir Saheb of Keranipara Nasirabad Darbar Sharif Awlade Rasul (PBUH) Hazrat Syed Shamshul Haque Babu Huzur inaugurated a colorful Jashne Juluse Eid-e-Miladunnabi procession from Nasirabad Darbar Sharif in Keranipara area of the city.
 
Ahle Sunnat Wale Jamaat and Mashaikhe Tariqat Committee and Gausia Committee Bangladesh brought out huge Jashne Juluse Eid-e-Miladunnabi processions from different areas and gathered at Public Library premises. 
 
Later, a discussion was arranged at the Public Library ground with President of Ahle Sunnat Wale Jamaat and Mashaikhe Tariqat Committee Pir Saheb of Barkotia Durbar Sharif Peer-e Tariakt Shah Ahammad Sayeed Ahammadi in the chair.
 
Pir Saheb Syed Shamshul Haque Babu Huzur, General Secretary of Ahle Sunnat Wale Jamaat and Mashaikhe Tariqat Committee Alhaj Shafikul Islam Shafik, Imam of Nasirabad Ekramia Jam-e-Mosque Hafez Moulana Mohammad Tazul Islam, Engineer Kamrul Huda and Dr Md Afzal Hossain also addressed.
 
The district administration jointly with Islamic Foundation organised a discussion at the District Model Mosque and Islamic Cultural Center with its Pesh Imam Moulana Mohammad Zahidul Islam after Johr prayers.
 
Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Mobasswer Hasan, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) AWM Raihan Shah and Rangpur Divisional Director of Islam Foundation Md Shahjahan participated in the discussion and a milad and doa mehfil.
 
Later, Pir Saheb of Ansaria Darbar Sharif Md Sirajus Salekin conducted a milad and doa mehfil and offered munajats seeking continuous peace and prosperity of the country and its people and the Muslim Ummah and humanity as a whole.
 
The speakers said those who have followed the ideals of the Prophet (PBUH), have been turned into golden people and they will be awarded with the Zannatul Ferdous by the Almighty Allah.
 
They called for following the ideals and works of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) who brought the light of purification for the whole humankind to establish peace.
