DHAKA, Sep 2, 2021 (BSS) - Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places across the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9 am today.
"Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Barishal, Mymensingh, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Dhaka and Khulna divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country," said a Met office weather bulletin here today.
Day temperature may fall slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, it added.
The country's maximum temperature yesterday was recorded 35.0 degrees Celsius
at Mongla in Khulna division while today's minimum temperature 23.6 degrees Celsius was recorded at Chattogram.
Maximum rainfall in the last 24 hours as of 6 am today was recorded 113 millimeters (mm) at Tetulia in Rangpur division.
The sun sets at 6:15pm today and rises at 5:41 am tomorrow in the capital.
