DHAKA, Sept 29, 2023 (BSS) - State Minister for Women and Children's Affairs Fazilatun Nessa Indira today said that Smart Bangladesh will be established by 2041 under the prudent leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

"Under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, a developed-prosperous and Smart Bangladesh will be established by 2041," she said.

The state minister said these at a programme held at Bangladesh Shishu Academy here with the participation of children marking Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's 77th birthday as the chief guest, a press release said.

Later, she cut a birthday cake with those children and offered a special prayer seeking Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's long life and sound health.

A discussion on PM's birthday and a cultural programme were held there with Secretary of the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs Nazma Mobarek in the chair.

Chairperson of Bangladesh Shishu Academy Lucky Enam, Jatiya Mohila Sangstha Chairman Chemon Ara Tayeb and Managing Director of Joyeeta Foundation Afroza Khan also spoke, among others, on the occasion.

Fazilatun Nessa Indira urged all to vote for boat in the upcoming elections to continue the current development spree in the country.
