DHAKA, Oct 7, 2023 (BSS) - Amra Ekattor, an organisation based on the spirit of the War of Liberation, today held a human chain in front of Bangladesh National Museum at Shahbagh here seeking the recognition of the United Nations (UN) over the genocide that occurred in Bangladesh by the Pakistani army in 1971.

Several central leaders, including convener of the organization and heroic freedom fighter Mahbub Zaman, Enamul Aziz, valiant freedom fighters Hilal Foyezi and Somiran Sarkar, Mahila Parishad Finance Secretary Dil Afroz Begum, journalist Russo Rakib, Jibon Kumar Saha and Mahfuza Jasmine, took part in the human chain. 

International organizations, including the UN, have been urged to pay tribute to 30 lakh martyrs of the War of Liberation by recognizing the 71's genocide carried out by the Pakistan occupation forces.
