DHAKA, Oct 13, 2023 (BSS) – Democratic League (DL) general secretary Saifuddin Ahmed Moni, one of the architects of All-Party Students’ Unity of 1990s mass-upsurge against autocratic ruler HM Ershad, passed away   at a hospital in the capital today.

Moni breathed his last around 12.05 pm at BIRDEM Hospital, Mirpur  while undergoing treatment , said a press release of DL.
He was 68.

Moni was a lifelong bachelor.

He was laid to eternal rest at his village home at Maheshpur under Ishwarganj upazila of  Mymensingh district following a namaz-e-janaza after Asr prayer.
