DHAKA, Oct 15, 2023, (BSS) - Bangladesh Meteorological Department today predicted rain or thunder showers at four divisions in the next 24 hours commencing 9am today.

"Rain or thunder showers may occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Dhaka and Chattogram divisions. Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country," the bulletin said.

Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, it added.

Country's maximum temperature on Saturday was recorded 35.0 degrees Celsius jointly at Faridpur, Khulna, Mongla and Jashore, and minimum temperature today was 21.4 degrees Celsius at Tetulia.

The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours till 6am today was recorded 04 mm at Dimla.

The sun sets at 5:33PM today and rises at 5:56 AM tomorrow in Dhaka.
