DHAKA, Oct 18, 2023 (BSS) - Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country, said a met office forecast for the next 24 hours beginning from 9am today.

 Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

Country's maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded 35.7 degree celsius at Sitakunda and minimum temperature today was recorded 20.1 degree celsius at Tetulia.

Country's maximum rainfall for the last twenty-four hours till 6am today was recorded 07 millimeters (mm) at Dhaka.

Trough of low lies over North Bay. A low pressure area is likely to form over central part of the Bay of Bengal during next 48 hours.

Today's sunset at Dhaka at 05-30 PM and sunrise tomorrow will be at 05-58 AM.
