DHAKA, Oct 20, 2023 (BSS) - A rally and procession were held in the capital today protesting the aggression of Israel on the oppressed Palestinians for the last 75 years.

After Jumma prayers, the procession started in front of Mohakhali BRAC University in the capital and ended reaching Amtali area after parading Mohakhali bus stand and Dhaka Mymensingh highway. A special doa and munajat was offered there.

aulana Iqbal Sirazi, amir of Mahakhali Qaumi Madrasa Oikya Parishad, conducted the munajat.

Mahakhali Qaumi Madrasa Oikya Parishad organised the rally and procession where around 50,000 Muslims participated.

Presided over by Maulana Iqbal Siraji, former khatib of Mohakhali Railgate Madrasa and amir of Mohakhali Qaumi Madrasa Oikya Parishad, the rally was addressed, among others, by principal of Mahakhali Darul Ulum Madrasa Mufti Ehtesamul Haque, Mufti Ruhul Amin, Maulana Mahabur Rahman, Maulana Lutfar Rahman and Maulana Ismail Hossain.
