DHAKA, Oct 23, 2023 (BSS) - Awami League (AL) General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader today expressed profound shock and sorrow over the casualties in a train accident took place in Kishoreganj's Bhairab this afternoon
 
In a condolence message, he prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved families.

The AL general secretary asked all concerned, including fire service and civil defense, local administration and health authorities, to complete rescue operation and ensured treatment for those injured in the accident.

He also urged local AL leaders and workers to cooperate with the rescue operation.

At least 15 people were killed and many others injured when a container train and a passenger train collided in Kishoreganj's Bhairab.
