DHAKA, Oct 25, 2023 (BSS) - Awami League (AL) Joint General Secretary AFM Bahauddin Nasim today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Former communications minister and AL's former lawmaker of Madaripur-3 constituency Syed Abul Hossain.

In a condolence message, Nasim prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family member, said a press release signed by AL office secretary Barrister Biplab Barua.

He breathed his last while undergoing treatment at the United Hospital in the city early today at the age of 72.

Valiant freedom fighter Syed Abul Hossain left behind his wife, two daughters and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn his death.

Nasim said the death of the veteran politician cast a pall of gloom in the politics.
