DHAKA, Oct 25, 2023 (BSS)- Information and Broadcasting Minister and Awami
League (AL) Joint General Secretary Dr Hasan Mahmud today expressed profound
shock and sorrow at the death of former communications minister and AL's ex-
lawmaker Syed Abul Hossain.
 
In a message of condolence, the minister, who is visiting Brussels now,
said Syed Abul Hossain, who was elected lawmaker for four times from
Madaripur-3 constituency, has played a pivotal role in the education sector.
 
Dr Hasan prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep
sympathy to the bereaved family.
 
Valiant Freedom Fighter Syed Abul Hossain died of cardiac arrest at the
United Hospital in the city early today at the age of 72.
