DHAKA, Oct 28, 2023 (BSS) - President Mohammed Shahabuddin today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of valiant Freedom Fighter Squadron Leader (retd) Badrul Alam, Bir Uttam.

In a condolence message, the head of state prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.

Squadron Leader (retd) Badrul Alam, Bir Uttam breathed his last at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH), Dhaka at 1.30pm today at the age of 75.

Awarded with Shadhinata Padak in 2016, Badrul was a courageous pilot, known for his pivotal role in Operation Kilo Flight.
 
He left behind his wife, a son, a daughter and a host of relatives to mourn his death.
