DHAKA, Oct 29, 2023 (BSS) - BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul has been shown arrested in murder and arson cases filed with the Paltan Police Station.

"He has been shown arrested in two cases filed with Paltan Police Station over the killing of a police constable and arson incidents during BNP's Saturday rally in the capital," DMP Commissioner Md Habibur Rahman told the media this evening.

In the early morning, Mirza Fakhrul was picked up by the Detective Branch (DB) of police from his Gulshan residence for questioning about the violence and death of a policeman during BNP's Saturday rally in the capital.
