CHATTOGRAM, Oct 29, 2023 (BSS) - Information and Broadcasting Minister and Awami League Joint General Secretary Dr Hasan Mahmud today said those who killed people and burn down public transports have no room in Ranguniya.
The minister said this while virtually addressing a meeting of beneficiaries held at Ranguniya Upazila Club Ground organized by Ranguniya Municipality and Awami League Ranguniya municipality unit with municipality mayor Md Shahjahan Sikder in the chair.
About his constituency, Dr Hasan said Ranguniya upazila has achieved progress which was deprived of 30 years. A number of development works has taken place in the upazila and the scenario of the upazila has been changed, he added.
Sharply criticizing BNP's recent activities, the information minister said BNP-Jamaat burnt down people and public transports. They began terrorism activities again like 2013, 2014 and 2015, he added.
Member of Board of Trustee of International Islami University Khaled Mahmud, AL upazila unit publicity secretary Amrul Karim Rashed, municipality councilor Jalal Uddin, Jubo League upazila unit Badiul Khayer Liton Chowdhury, general secretary Mohammad Younus, Swechchhasebak League upazila unit general secretary Didarul Alam and Chhatra League upazila unit president Rassel Rashu, among others, addressed the meeting while AL Ranguniya municipality unit president Ariful Islam Chowdhury and general secretary Mohammad Selim conducted it.
